Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have signed Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi for four years deal signed on Sunday. From Inter Milan’s loan deal to permanent stay at PSG, Icardi scored 21 goals for french club in played 31 games before the Ligue 1 stopped due to COVID-19.
“Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the signing of Mauro Icardi on a permanent deal, following the striker’s loan from Inter Milan during the 2019-2020 season,” PSG said in a statement.
PSG welcome Argentina striker in their side and Icardi to represent french club till June 2024.
“FC Internazionale Milano announces the transfer of Mauro Icardi to Paris Saint-Germain FC: the striker, born in 1993, has permanently moved to the French club. The club thanks the player for the six seasons he spent with us and wishes him the best for his future professional career,” Inter Milan said in a statement.
According to ESPN report, PSG paid 50 million Euros initially to get Icardi permanent basis along with 7 million add-ons to convert deal from loan to permanent.
